Saturday, February 6, 2016. Hi My name is De Ann Moore and I am average. Average is right in the middle. It means I am just a normal person with normal abilities. So why is that so depressing. I live a world where I am told that I need to be special. I need to be the favorite friend, daughter, worker, and teacher. What happens to all the other people if I became the best or above average? It would put people under me. It makes me better than other people. How is that healthy? Posted by De Ann.

D J Norton playing on the railways. Taken by Ken Morris, 29th November 1953. D J Norton - Dennis John Norton - was my father. Born in Birmingham in 1930, he suffered ill health throughout his life. He died from an asthma attack at the age of 35 in Ledbury, Herefordshire where my family had moved hoping that a country location may help alleviate the symptoms of his illness. This is a project that will take time to complete.
